Merhaba

We hope to be furnishing our new apartment in Calis in May next year. We read somewhere that there is a material shop at the back of the market in Fethiye that makes up sheets and pillows etc... Do you know this shop and do they make them up in 24 hrs. Is that cheaper than buying ready made. Would it be cheaper to buy in England and take with us.

Thanks

Mike,

I don't know the shop you are referring to, but there are a bunch of fabric shops on the "top road" of the one way system in Fethiye.

We actually bought some ready made from one of those places and then added a few sets brought from home as my wife believes the selection is far better in the UK.

I would definitely take sheets & pillowcases from the UK; the Turkish bought ones are a "dog" to iron!

We took out King Size sheets and they all fit fine, we also bought King Size Sheets in the Debenhams in Istanbul.
I put a link to a really good website for bedding on the "Other Websites" section of the forum this morning. ;)
