Intasure email
« on: October 28, 2010, 07:17:43 AM »
Has anyone received an email from Intasure wanting their passport details? I have. Its the first time theyve ever emailed me and I'm loathe to pass on my passport details in this way, having had phoney contacts from both banks and the inland revenue.
Thought it worth asking here.

We had to take copies of our passports for our Aviva insurance.

We had to provide passport details to Intasure when they renewed our earthquake insurance for us.  They regularly use email contact with us, we have never had any problems with them. If you are worried about the authenticity of the email, give them a call and ask them to confirm their requirements.

Yes I got same email and provided details. This is now required by Turkish law as they can only provide insurance to people WITHOUT residency.
