shower cubicle non slip mat
« on: May 05, 2013, 22:30:11 PM »
Hi

We have changed our shower cubicle into a walk in shower standing directly onto the tiled floor with a drain in the middle and we are now looking for a something to put on the floor. Ideally we want something similar to a wooden slated tray type, which would be comfortable to stand on but would allow the water to drain through. We looked last week when we were over at our apartment but could not find anything. Can anyone help me find something so we can buy the next time we are out?

thank you.

We actually had our builder put non slip tiles on top of the tiles he'd originally put in.  They were very inexpensive and much nicer than a mat.  Just a thought.

If I'm thinking wooden slatted thing, I'm honestly thinking something to bring out next time I visit.

Like an old fashioned duck board, draw design with measurements and go to any place that cuts wood or makes furniture and they will makeonw for not a lot of money.

Yes but any old wood won't last for long in a shower

Tekzen (B&Q) on the top main rd near the big Kipa sales hardwood decking tiles that link together that might work or the Yapi market on the same road sales them also. If you want the proper thing the Vitra showroom sales them but expensive.
