chip pans

brought 2 chip pans in migros 1 for a friend   but no lids inside.do any one know if and where i can get the lids thanks

Should they have a lid?If not why not ask in Migros if they have anything suitable,Or use the anti spatter guards used on frying pans.

Better still, buy electric deep fat fryers.  Less chance of having a chip pan fire!

Most chip pans sold here don't have lids.

We bought one too, but just to use as a saucepan, as most of the saucepans have handles either side.  I would think you would not need a lid for a chip pan though.

You can get oven chips in the supermarkets, safer that a pan full of fat.
