Another Good Plastic
« on: January 12, 2017, 10:38:30 AM »
I was reviewing my holiday spending cards and thought I should have a back-up to my pre-2011 Nationwide credit card. Since I am already in Santander 123 I went for their Zero credit card. It is 0% fee, 0% loading. So yesterday I would have got 4.67₺ to £. It is Mastercard and gives a significantly better rate than Visa. Not a card to suit everybody but since I pay off in full every month it is OK for me.

The wee fella's on a new rant. He reckons Forex is trying to take over the country by bringing it to it's knee's using dollars.

He's urging the Central Bank and mattress stuffers to foil it.        :o

              HDN.

I've got some old drachmas in the drawer but I'm not involved in any terrorist activity.

RTE must think Old Trumpington is his new best mate then. One rambling rant of a speech on Wednesday (which was expected to be about economic policy) and the dollar fell against virtually all world currencies.
