Thanks Shadow DPD now agreeing to refund upon my receipt of the retuned documents.I now need to find another courier I have spoken with DHL who seem helpful and a good choice

The Consumer Arbitration route is only useful if DPD subscribe to the organisation. Which they don't.

Their subscriber list seems to be based mostly on pharmacuetical companies and a few clothes brands.

     DHL got my documents from Birmingham to Fethiye in 5 days, which included the Christmas holiday period,

That was before Brexit then. Most courier services are suffering now.

   That was 4 months ago.  December 2020.  The Turkish solicitor was surprised at the speed of delivery

Mrs KKOB ran a business from Kaya back in the 00's and 4 - 5 days for deliveries between Turkey and the UK were not uncommom back then.
