Can I ask why so many topics are not for view unless you are logged on?
I have heard the explaination for the Calis home owners section not being open to anyone except those home owners.I cannot see the reason for having to be logged in though to view other topics. Such as those mainly in the Information and Services section.There are a couple or more of others in other sections you cannot view unless you are logged on to as well.

Why can't you just get a straight answer to a simple question on here?

The open forums are general local information and available to all. Anything more specific requires people to sign up as a member. If you don't want to, it isn't a problem.

Thanks for that Scunner.Its no problem signing on butI am sure not only myself but others have wondered why you need  to view topics such as Gardening and such like.

We encourage people to become members  :)

For many other discussion forums, you have access to nothing unless you join and log in. This gives people a lot of info and for those who want more, the option is there. It's free too  ;)
