Be carefull, they tast very nice but are a bit heavy on the fenel. I hate fenel.
You should ask Bulent to display this as we had to chuck 3/4 away

You can use Pizza Flour if you need Strong Flour. I've made pork pies in the past using just Plain Flour and lard. They turned out just fine.

Some pork may have helped

Ah,,,,,,,,,,, that'll be why they tasted of flour and lard! :D

Rings a bell that. Did you have the contract to supply the Tesco Value pork pies?

Well i'm pleased i didn't rush down last night ,i would say not bad pie but colour texture taste i would say minced beef pie better hot than cold ,must be made by the same welsh firm that tries to make the pork sausages and the black pudding they need closing down they obviously make for the overseas market, they would be out of business if they were making for the u.k. market.[^]:-\

I don't think Greg Wallace has got anything to worry about Lance.

P'haps you would have done if you'd bought a Mince Beef and Fennel Pie ?

I think someone is telling porky pies saying they are English i think now after dissecting my other one they are wild boar hence the dark colour slightly stronger taste than pork :D ;)
