A lady by the name of nesh or ness was very helpful to us getting the phone in tasyaka and when we moved to gunlukbasi. Both times we were told 18 months, both times ness got it done in a few days! she works in th back office and speaks english! give her a try

Thanks everyone, I was dealing with Nese from the beginning and at first was allocated a number to be connected the following week. Then when nothing happenned, contacted her again and apparently there are no lines available. Saw the supervisor and he confirmed that they need a new exchange as the area has expanded so much there is no further availability. A friend who moved across the road recently, and is in business here in Fethiye also cannot get a line, and he is fairly well connected lol. We visited Turk Telecom around a month ago and the waiting list is just getting longer. Cathy
