Isn't it daft that when you call a bank's 'Customer Services' you have to answer security questions about yourself and your account before they'll divulge any information.
Yet, when they call you and you ask them to tell you the number of the account they're calling about, they 'can't divulge any security information to you' until you've answered their questions first.
That's all despite the constant reminders that customers should be wary of unsolicited calls from scammers posing as banks.
Santander, you're definitely a bunch of 'Merchant Bankers' !
