Sarge's place
« on: April 24, 2017, 05:30:42 AM »
Went here yesterday (beer 8tl) after wife mentioned it had good comments on facebook, plenty of English people (never noticed so many in calis now we live here) & menu was obviously aimed at the English tastes, wife had a cheese burger which came with chips and looked great and wife said it was and I had a meat feast pizza that I thought was fantastic, chef is the tall man with long curly hair that used to work in corner bar who said had was helping a friend out, worth a visit as just off the main rd around the corner from secret garden/baba fine.

Never noticed that place it must be new. Have been to the Palms and also across the road to Cafe Inn which is one of our favourites.
We always call into Baba Firin for bread, cakes and of course the crusty rolls, love the crusty rolls with the seeded tops.
I think a lot of Brits live in that area as we always note a lot around there.  Bump into lots in the D.I.Y. Shop too.

Sarges is into its 3rd year opening late in the season 2015.Its a great place to chill on an afternoon and they do a great range of beers. The food is international and although you can get burgers, pizzas etc they also do lovely breads, olives, meat platters, steaks etc and the wine is good.Reasonable prices, handy location and nice staff.

Couldn't agree more very good staff & easy to 'chill' in but as I was cycling & had 4 Efes already I could chill no more to safely cycle home.

Sarge's is immediately behind Cafe Pazar & was originally the Zayra Restaurant
