From Fethiye up to Ovacik there is only one road,up the mountain and this goes on to Hisaronu or Olu Deniz. There is a dolmus sometimes which also goes from Fethiye to Ovacik,Hisaronu and then on to Kaya but I do not know how often that one runs in the winter months.
Maybe they will start a dolmus which will go from Fethiye up to Kaya on the route which passes the Castle in Fethiye and then this may go on to Fethiye through Hisaronu and Ovacik. If they do that will be a very scenic trip. :)
-
They already have started a dolmus service on that route and I posted details of it in the Kaya Koyu forum!

Thought that I had seen it mentioned somewhere Alan! That is good news. I drive along that road and it has lovely panoramic scenery across Fethiye Bay and over Kaya Valley.Quite a winding mountain road though.
-
I lik it when you wait about half an hour in Fethiye for one, and when itturns up, the driver says ' Next one' and clears off home for his cup of chai!!!
-
Fethiye to Kaya is once an hour in the winter
-
That's via Ovacik and Hisaronu.

I'm sure even you appreciate that they have to stop for a break at sometime.
They're driving's dangerous enough without them working 14 hours without a break. :)

They do Alan. Everytime they stop at Oludeniz for 15 - 20 minutes.
