The CBF
p1ss meet up this week will be as advertised at Hamsi Bar on the seafront (from the bridge, progress to the beach and turn left onto promenade, it's up there on the way to the Mutlu Hotel).
9pm onwards, see you there I hope.

Hey we had Wednesday nights before they did ;)
It'll go on a while so I hope some quiz types will try to make it to both. There are a good number of CBF'ers in town.

Well, we have had Wednesday nights as the CBF meet night since May 2004, how long for the Shamrock quiz night ;) :) 8)

hi guys, well it looks as though the 4th June in Hamsi bar will be a bumper crop of CBF'ers. I hope you all have a great night. I wonder if any of you will be staying over for a 2nd week. I am a new member to the forum and my family and I will be arriving on the 9th and I am looking forward to meeting up with as many people from the forum as possible on the 11th. Have a bril time. :)

Hi, we are sorry that Captain Squiffy and I are unable to make the meet up on the 4th June but we will be busy holding the Carnival Charity Promises Auction which is the major fundraising event of Carnival week. This is being held on the frontage of Nicholas Homes between the Bambu Restaurant and the Nil Bar and starts at 7.30. Perhaps it might be possible to change the venue to the Bambu Restaurant for that night so that CBF members can still meet up but also have the chance to pick up a bargain or two at the auction?
We will also be announcing the winners of the Carnival Photography Competition at 7.00 before the auction starts and will be presenting the cups to whoever may be present.

Bambu would do for me, it's one of my most favouritist places ;)
I just wonder if we can get word out to anyone who was planning to come to Hamsi and has already left the UK. We'll make it Bambu for next week and hope word gets around.

we were there and it was lovely to meet the cbf'ers.just missed julesbob and family which was a shame.Lovely to finally meet Kieth and family,everyone very friendly as you would expect.Did have a very late night at Green Valley bar the night before with CBF and there were about 20 people at that one.Shame i can't make next week as well.Back here in the flamin rain now!7 weeks till i'm back again!and counting

Hi Amanda, so sorry we missed you all. Went to the karaoke night first, and just couldn't get away. (Knew Val who was compering it, so she kept asking Garry to sing - which he loved!). By the time we got to the Hamsi at 11pm, everyone was beginning to leave, and I didn't like to interrupt! It looked like you all had a good time though! We went on to Scarletts just after midnight, and had a few more there, so we had a great night. Just a shame we missed you all. We'll try again in August! Hope you all had as good a time in Calis as we did! Roll on 4th August! Julie & Garry x

Trouble is Amanda, I'm so shy :-\ (NOT, as my kids would say, lol).
You just all looked so settled and were deep in conversation, I didn't like to just walk over and say "Hi, I'm Julesbob!". :( If I'd had the wrong crowd (unlikely), they would have thought I was mad! :o Was desperately looking for someone I might recognise from their forum photo (you look very different :) ) and everyone began to disperse! [:X]
I often have this effect on people. 8)
Will definitely meet up in the summer with the girls. :)
