Dear All
I am pleased to announce that we have re-opened our cake shop. My husband and I are currently in the UK re-building our nest egg so that we can come back and run the shop soon. Currently my extended family are running the shop, however, we can still make English cakes to order.
And English friend is going to make the Easter Eggs this year, orders are being taken already at our new shop which is located next door to Aydin Pide (near the Sunday Market roundabout).
You can still contact us on 0536 4566 726 as a member of staff has our phone. Please don't forget that you can visit our website www.simplesite.com/aysescakes or contact me on email address jkucuk@aol.com
Lets hope that we can make a success of the shop this time! We as a family look forward to welcoming you soon!

Have now tried twice to visit the shop but on both occasions the door seems to be blocked by a vehicle. Perhaps I'm choosing the wrong days!!!!
-
Blocked by a vehicle, how do you mean, as far as I am aware my sister-in-law is at the shop, please let me know!
Thanks
Janice

Hi Janice, there has been a truck parked to block the entrance so no one can get in or out of the front door for several weeks and as far as I know and havent seen the shop open!
-
Hmm, I have been past and seen Turkish people sitting at a table outside. That was a week or so ago.
-
Rusting pick-up truck blocking the doors on Monday lunchtime when I went past.

The truck has been there for the past 7 days and was again this morning when I went past, and again at lunch time today.
-
Could the truck be a rival blocking the entrance?
-
First cake shop I have ever heard of that also does villa cleaning, bikini waxes and massages.
-
Do you have to take all 3? I don't think I could suffer that sort of pain just to have a few floors swept
-
Massages mightn't be too bad depending on what extra you get.
-
Ok that'll do, you were warned. I think you came here to see how many posts you could make before getting banned. You didn't do well, I was distracted, plumbing in a dishwasher :D
-
Back on topic... -What is happening with Ayse's? I went past there about a week ago and there is still a rusty truck reversed back against the front of the shop.
-
Hi its Janice from Ayse's Cakes, apparently we are a month behind on the rent so the landlord has blocked the doorway, we have now thrown in the towel!
-
Aargh!!! What a nightmare. This is like an itch you can't scratch. I hope you can either walk away and be done with it and get on with your life. Or get stuck in, sort it out and make a go of it. Best wishes to you Janice.
-
take care janice, keep your chin up
-
Awe Janice with a landlord like that its best to part company. You wont keep a good cake maker down for long!!! Let us know if you can still take orders for cakes-if ur gonna do them at home. Take care.
