Title: 60's and 70's night
Post by: tinkerman on April 16, 2009, 16:20:19 PM: Annas on the seafront are putting on a 60's 70's night next Friday 24th April with music by Derek.

Tickets are on sale from Annas Bar or Karens Cards at 10tl each, which includes meze, grilled meatballs & chicken chips and salad.

Part of the proceeds of the night will go to the animal shelter.

There will also be a prize for best costume:D

Also the official start time is 7.30pm

So come on down and support a different cause. Any requests for music by the way can be left here or at Karenz card shop and Rusty will do his best to find them.

Hi Tinx,

We arrive Calis tomorrow, Saturday 18, staying at Aytur Hotel, would they be able to keep 2 tickets for us please & i will pick them up when I find Anna's.

I dont arrive till 25th (late), so unfortunately I'll miss the party night.(that was bad timing!) If Anna's is still taking donations I'll pop in there, or maybe someone could advise me if anyone else is collecting.
If need be, I'll find my way to the home. It would be great to go and see it anyway.

I cant wait to visit the Cafe Inn and the Cafe Pazaar, as they weren't there last year, and they are very close to my apartment. Im sure I'll be putting a few lira in the box (and plenty more behind the bar!)

We have had lots of music requests for the evening, please get your own request in
it looks like it will be a brilliant night so come and get your tickets if you haven't done already
Some donations have already come in from the UK. thanks Keith, Derek has got that challenge sorted without a problem

And, if you can't make the evening but want to donate you can contact me via this forum or call into my shop where a receipt will be given for the contribution made.

Also the raffle tickets for the booze hampers will be available in the shop too

A similar event for the same cause will also take place at the newly refurbed, newly owned ''First Class Restaurant'' next to Sok opposite the clinic in a couple of weeks time, will keep you informed so those of you who miss next Friday could make maybe make the next one.
