Bought a prepack of Kofte in Migros and I kid you not this is what it said on the lable (IN ENGLISH)
"Hot Raw Meatballs.........(MEATLESS!)"
Work that one out:D

lol is that their translation of çigköfte?? the first bit is correct... gets a bit wayward with the 'meatless' though :D
-
Although these hot meatballs are traditionaly made with raw beef and spices, there is a modern variation that uses bulgar, presumably due to the CJD worries. Hence the meatless meatball:D

Nitpicking on spelling but in this context amusing. Wether is a castrated Ram......which might explain the meatless meatballs:D
