Has anyone in Turkey been having problems with their internet? Last night i couldn't access anything online and still having the same problem this morning, have just downloaded a VPN and everything is back to normal, is the Turkish government playing silly bu--ers again and restricting what we can see??

I think the answer is definitely YES as TT net has been spotted doing all sorts.
.CO.UK pages badly interrupted or completely stopped
Certificates for sites faked and DNS's cloned to intercept traffic.
To name a few

1145hrs 10 Oct.

Just tried to bring up Daily Mail via my desktop,  no chance!!!!

Tried on my Vinnwifi on laptop and no problems

Tried it on TTNET wireless through Samsung GT-N8010 and no chance!!!

Google (UK) also not working but Google (TR) ok My neighbor is with D-smart  didn't have a problem geting uk websites seems it's only TT net that has a problem. or is it because D-smart is a private provider and is harder to be ''controlled'' ?? Can now get uk sites lıke this one (google UK still down)

This had been giving me grief for months now as my IPTV server is based outside of turkey i run a bit of software called dns bench mark here you can see what is the best dns to use and what is happening it seems that most of the dns servers in turkey are being hijacked this goes for open dns servers as well here in turkey, google paypal etc by ttnet/ goverment and having there ip address changed  this means one thing to me that the goverment will have more control on what you do and dont see time will tell
