  Just watched a news flash from the US ordering all it's Embassy staff to leave Istanbul immediately

  due to security fears.       :(

Only istanbul, (also some eastern places)
Only AMERICAN embassy FAMILY MEMBER ,
Only diplomatic mission (no other mission like touristic very important and sensitive misson)  ;)
But if you American,embassy family member leave immediately .

UK Gov advice is: "British diplomatic missions in Turkey continue to operate as normal. You should remain vigilant and monitor travel advice. If UK citizens are concerned they should contact Yildirim (c/o CBF)"

   Rory McIIroy  has just pulled out of the Turkish Open golf tournament citing security fears.
