If you have a wireless laptop, you only need the key code, i'm computer useless and even i can get online with mine, i don't even need togo in the bars, i can sit on the balcony and type away, i am just close enough to pick 3 connections up. Alan

As Crabbit says - if you have the ability to connect remotely in the UK then you have a required software and hardware. Just make sure that you take any usb adaptors that you neeed in the UK. Then try and connect in the places mentioned. If you cannot get on the net you might need to asd for a network key from the bar owner.

ps - do a search on pcgold before you call in their shop. I remember a very bad story on the forum somewhere.

     Migros cafe

     Mimosa Hotel and resaurant
Take a seat, order a drink and ask the waiter for an unlocking code. I found all very obliging especially Uzzi at the mimoza.

Hi All
Just got back from two fantastic weeks out there and I'd like to thank all those that contributed to this thread.
As posted wireless is available from
Aura, Nil, Meri, Migros, Mimosa Hotel, Voilet Apts, Serkul 1, and the Shamrock.
The connection was good from Aura, Nil and Migros and exceptional from the Shamrock (thanks Glen). Couldnt connect form serkul 1 at all despite several attempts. I dont know why and the guys didnt seem to know either. Didn't try Meri, Mimosa or Voilets so can't comment about them.
Also would like to add another place to the list its the Kafetria. It can be found on the opposite corner to aldyn pide on Baris Manco Bulivari. Connection there was very good and they have their own laptops for you to use FOC as well.
