Last evening Mr & Mrs Scunner, The Miniature Scunners, Mrs Crabbit & Myself went for a meal at Somine Kebap Restaurant. (as my favourite restaurant "Palms" was closed)
We ordered a bottle of Vodka (it`s easier that way
) "it will cost you 50 Lira" came te reply, "on yer bike" says I, we`ve never paid more than 40 Lira & usually it`s 35 Lira. Needless to say we passed on that, we had a litre bottle of water instead.
Scunner ordered Iskender, back came the reply "we don`t have that tonight"
The Scunner Miniatures ordered Doner & Rice, back came the reply "we don`t have that either"
For gods sake, it`s a bloody Kebap Restaurant.
We decided to leave and asked for the bill for the water, 3.5 Lira. Extortion at it`s best.
Off we went to the Orient Restaurant and had a fantastic meal.
