Right,i am going looking at a flat near the hospital i am in, cos i need an address or utility bills to open a bank account, which i need to get my pension, they wont pay it into my sons account, even though he's going to be the one in charge of it, so this little outing is going to cost me about £700 a month, ridiculous, but once i get the flat i can concenrate on getting fit to relax on either my balcony or a ground floor flat, which seems my best idea, i have bought an electric scooter to go to the shops, so i am not fully reliant on others, but first i have to get my letter off the consultant, FIT TO FLY, without that i've had it. Alan

Alan
Get well soon. Sending you positive energy.

Re. address/utility bills - if you don't actually need a flat could you transfer your sons or a friends utility bills to your name for a short time & put yourself at their address for a short while to open a bank account OR PREFERABLY a Nationwide account with a debit card (think of all the extra money you'll save with their great exchange rates when you draw your pension!) & have all payments made to that account.

How about - Sound to Sail instead of fit to fly? Come back to Calis in style!

My eldest lad has tried all ways to get me a bank account, all to no avail, i was living at my mothers, and she has utility bills, but they have to be in my name cos i need an address to get my own money. Alan
