Brought Turkish mobile phones last year and when we returned last week they wasn't working. Thought they just needed topping up but was told that the sim had been cancelled because we hadn't used it since october. We had to purchase new sim cards and that means a new telephone number.
Tried to buy a mobile on contract in turkey but was told not possible, too much paperwork needed.
So every year looks like we will have to buy a new sim card. any other suggestions?
