« on: April 30, 2008, 11:20:17 AM »
Can anyone tell me if the 'Okyun' is good for Turkish Baths?, its only around the corner from our apartment and My son Gavin and his girlfriend want to have one as soon as they get there in June and have heard that its good?.

We went to the Aries a couple of years ago when it was open and have been to one in Fethiye but can't remember where it was??!.

Thanks
June :)

Have had a few Turkish baths at the Oyken all been brilliant. Also had the face mask there which cost about £5 and it was lovely this including a face massage which was fantastic my skin was positively glowing after! Thoroughly recommend.

Assuming you mean the Oykun Matt, if you come down to the Dolpin roundabout from Gunlukbasishire, the Oykun is a large light blue hotel in roughly the 2 o'clock direction off the roundabout.

Don't know if it helps, but when we were there in september, we went to one next to the Aqua Park. It was called the Hotel Club E and it was very very good. You just walk down the path next to the Aqua Park and its in the big hotel there.
I really hope its still going when we next come over.

Ezza, Club E is still very much there  :)  I popped in & had a drink with Efe recently at their newly situated & re-furbed bar area  :)

All the roads have been blocked-paved (very smart) the garden's in Club E are looking great & there's a proper pathway allowing access through their gardens thus avoiding the messy track by the canal  :)  also very handy to stop & have a drink or snack there too  :) ;)

:-\ LOL, forgot to mention, their Turkish bath is great  :)
