just returned from a great week in calis, building site at first but once finished the area will have a lot of potential.

it was nice to see an old friend again     adam
back from the army but still doing the shoe shine

after all he has been through i would of thought this is the last job he would be doing.
but who knows one day the sun may shine for him
either way it was good to catch up with him

Glad to hear he came back safe and well.  I thought I'd heard last year that one of the bars on the front were going to give him a job on his return

Maybe I'm alone in my thoughts but what a bloody condescending and patronising post that is. What is so wrong with shoe shine that he needs the sun to shine on him? It could just be that he is quite happy doing it, and earning a decent crust for his efforts.

I didnt get that. I thought it was a genuine post and gt probably thought that doing the shoe shine was the last thing he would do as he was doing that when he got attacked. Just a thought, I may be wrong?

Well he was doing shoe shine after he got attacked and before he joined the army, so it is of little surprise to see him doing it on his return  :)

Know I will get flayed for this but personally I think 5 lira for a shoe shine is a bit over the top (Hadgi price last season)
