im in england and i have just heard my solar panels are leaking in turkey , could this be some sort of safety valve or does this mean they are broken in some way . thanks

They may have cracked.  You need to put anti freeze in each year.  We have been advised to do it in October.  Luckily we didn't sustain damage before we were told.  And we had had some very cold nights. Sadly not everyone was as lucky.

I think it was bad that we weren't told when we moved in.  I wonder what the position would have been had damage resulted.

Are you sure it is the solar panels?  It is usually the storage tanks that leak. :)

Very cheap to replace but they don't last very long...they get corroded with the high mineral content in the water. :)
