We took ours frozen and wrapped in foil in the handluggage although it was pre additional airport security. We decided to leave the bag at our place for the next hols and forgot a pack of bacon in one of the side pockets. When we went 3 months later we found it! That was nice!! Fortunately it was vacumed packed so hadnt leaked and didnt smell though it was a very pleasant shade of green!!!

:)suzi, been that shop, actually went to buy bacon, but when I saw it I was put right off, nothing looks right on the meat side of stuff, the only thing that was cheap were the big bottles of soy sauce, stick to the meatballs queen. ;)

5lb frozen shortback bacon 69TL for 5lb. I don't miss it that much. We just have a bacon and egg butty at the Mulberry in Fethiye if we get desperate.

Only took us out for a restaurant (mentioning no names!) for their breakfasts only to find out it was not open so gave some away to our neighbours, and would you believe cooked up loads for one of the lovely dogs near to where we are! Dog was happy so that made it worth it.
