Trust me, it doesn't sound too funny to me. Maybe I will bring some beautiful Turkish Meze's and Pide's over to your place in the UK, and feed them to the pigeons  ;)

I have just consumed the other half of the port tonight, I was made up cos my boy came out with his old Ma for a meal cos I am 46 today oh my God how old I feel about 26 when I am in Calis. Any time you want bacon just let me know.

Down to last four rasher of bacon:(, but hey ho brother coming out soon so thought no worries.  He now tells me he wont bring any out cos he knew someone who was caught and fined last year for having bacon. Just my bloody luck.

Did he mean caught in UK with the bacon or Turkey?
We were told at security check UK the bacon and sausages we could keep but not the beans cos they contain liquid, but would have bean!(pardon the pun) ok if it was corned beef in the tin as does not have any liquid in.
