Thanks all, just back - discharged tonight after an MRI scan shows that i have a trapped nerve. They thought it was possibly a clot after they asked if I had flown rescently and I said yes. so to be on the safe side I was being tested for a clot. I have been so impressed with my care- I don't want to open the flood gates for people to comment on the state of the NHS just to praise the care I got :) although the food left a lot to be desired and I ended up having meals brought in 8), turns out in a survey that the food at Northampton GH is one of the worst in the country:(.

This afternoon I painted the nails of one of the old girls on the ward with me, she was thrilled, I wanted to adopt her I loved her to bits and after a week I felt quite sad to leave her behind.

I'm signed off for a couple of weeks a luxury i have never had before so plenty of time to catch up.

Pookie - let's just say that the diet wasn't ruined by any eye candy.:(

My biggest diasppointment was that Mr Crabbit didn't send a mean one liner:D

I did ask for a free face lift but no go I'm afraid:D

Seriously though thanks for the concerns - I hadn't logged on since I posted the message and was thrilled to see so many messages.
