There was a monkey on the loose in Hisaronu last year. He/she was hanging out[ no pun intended] in the trees at the back of our hotel. The manager was panic stricken, thought it might have had rabies and bitten a guest. What a laugh! the monkey showed up at breakfast every morning ,took a handful of fruit and was away with the staff trying to catch him.:D:D

I must admit Rabies did eventually spring to my mind, but my eyes and brain were just not in unison, my eyes confirming it is a monkey and my brain telling me to stop being so bl00dy stupid! [:o)]

By the time it was sitting in the back seat of the car, I was thinking I had far too much sun that day.

Rabies, well, with so many street dogs, a huge Bat population, snakes, scorpions spiders, you could end up being totally paranoid.

We've just found out that the monkey,"Pasha",actually belongs to people living in the Erkan Aparthotel, which is the place where we are allowed free use of their pool and other facilities. Just across Yunus Nadi Boulevard, which joins Gunlukbasi Main road to the Migros Road, so not far at all for Loz to go and have her legs cuddled,(when the mood takes her!!) 8)[:o)]:D
Gordy.
