Work was well underway yesterday in refurbishing the Calis bridge. New wooden railings and new steel floor for the footbridge were being put into place, so no more danger of falling through into the river!

That great to hear Phil,it would have been a shame not to have done that when all the work to the shops and road etc along there look so good now.

Just been in Calis, the bridge is almost completed, well the right hand side as you approach the beach area. It is being surfaced with thick wooden slats, over a NEW metal framework, with really chunky wooden handrails, Loz will add photos later, but looks really good, not before time though!!
