Keeping Kids Entertained

Reading the topic on best beaches reminded me of last year when we went to Kaputas beach for the day. When we arrived we had failed to realise just how little there was to do there. I soon realised that this was going to be hell with the kids who were then 14 and 17. I devised some activities and thought I would share one of them with you in case you find yourself in the same situation.

Creating pictures on each others back using pebbles and guesing what the picture was kept them occupied on and off for a few hours. Here are pictures of some of the works of art...

This last one kept me guessing for quite a while!!

Hey GB, you've changed a lot in the last year, looking at your cbf photo compared to your beach photo, lol!

Great game by the way.  When our kids were younger, we used to take cheapie paint sets out with us, and they would paint designs on large pebbles.  Kept them (and me!) entertained, and quiet, for hours.
