This has been happening since Feb 15th this year and I know this becuase our office process's around 1500-2000 residence and work permits per year. The hassle is even worse if you are a citizen of a non A group country.

as said earlier i was 6 hours over 90 days,so be careful they only understand money,could some one clarify the overstay on visa,does the ban in my case 1 day start when i enter turkey

I think the day ban is more relevant to people here long term and nip across to Meis or Rhodes for the day. Just means they have to stay overnight and come back a day later or however long the visa has over run by.

Last week a new regulation came in. You dont get the ban untill you have overstayed 15 or more days. If you over stay that much you get a 3-6 month ban and then have to apply at the Turkish consulate for a visa to enter again and not a VOA.

I have to agree with starman on this one as this happend to a mate of mine up here in Istanbul. She had to go to the Turkish consulate but she got a 3 month ban now she is back here in Istanbul and had no problems coming back in.
