You can upgrade your ADSL speed to 8 Mb . It is 49 TL per month (nearly same as 1 Mb unlimited) . In case you use more than 15 GB per month, your speed will turn to 512 kbps for that month, no extra charge. If you buy normal unlimited 8 Mb, it is around 99 TL per month.

You must have a landline first and, after that you can get ADSL service, unlike in UK . And to get a landline , you must have residency permit [

Or a good friend with residency that will allow you to have the landline in their name.

I got that text from ttnet and just upgraded - unlimited and 8 times faster yippee! (before i got the text i was going to go unlimited without the speed increase and that was 45Tl !!)

You don't need residency or land-line as previous person pointed out if neighbour is resident they can do it for you had mine done three weeks ago land-line connected thursday ADSL done on the fri and I'm not a resident.
