Has anyone had a stall at the Fethiye second hand market? If so are the prices you are getting for your items better than boot fairs? Thanks Phill

Some friends and I had a wander around at the market and bought a few items. The little cafe in the middle was open when we went as well. There were about eighty stalls open but not all of them were there as early as two o'clock. Some stalls opened later in the afternoon. All sorts of things were for sale.

Daffodil, how did the prices compare with the car boot sales?

I bought some paperbacks for one lira each. My friend bought a nice white shirt style dress for five lira and a couple of ornaments for two lira each. There was a young boy there selling his toys as he wanted to buy something else with the money. I do not think it is any dearer than a car boot sale. As it is a fairly new idea it will be a case of bartering for what you want for the price you are prepared to pay.

There is plenty of room for more stalls, even with eighty stalls being used there is a lot of space and all under cover. :)
