The Animal Centre where I take students on a Monday has one - it's gorgeous and very friendly. It's a lovely bright green and pink colour. They feed it on live meal worms, and its great to see it eat - its tongue comes out really slowly and suddenly grabs the worms in!
It has a funny reaction to the colour blue! There is a blue and yellow glove that the kids sometimes use to tease it (!) through its glass cage, and it squeezes itself in, so that it looks thinner and longer. Not sure if it thinks this is an attractive look! By the way, his name is .............. Boy George, of course!
Not quite Turkey, or out in the wild, but very interesting nevertheless!
