hi every body i want to buy new scooter for doing shopping i need it to carry both me the wife and the food shopping can anybody give me advice thanks

You will need resisdents permit to get kimlik number to buy scooter.

Nigel - so do I - 2 points for you:

I am going for a 125cc (they are always 124.something - as my medical cover will not cover me at above 125 cc)

You DO NOT need residency permit to buy a scooter or a car all you need is a passport and a tax number had my scooter over 2 years now, friend of mine bought a new car last September and has not got residency.

didnt the law change on 1st january...so you DO need recidency, as kevin rightly says...more info is here..
