Dongles for Internet use on Computers

I know nothing about dongles and would like any info other members can give.
Is Turkcell better than say Vodophone?
Who is giving the best deal at the moment i.e. Gigabites for the money spent.
In fact any info would be greatly appreciated.

Turkcell have an offer on at the moment
3 months for 39 lira on new contracts 4 GB I use turkcell and have done for nearly 1 yr never had a problem.

Denton there is quite a lot of info about dongles under this section as I too knew nothing about them and asked a lot of questions some while back, had some very helpful info given but cant remember what I called the topic but should defo be under this section.
