Much is often made of the weight of expectation on Andy Murray (and Tim Henman before him) to be the first Brit to win a Slam for 75 years. But I don't remember peolpe making so much of the fact that Serbia have never had a champion until Djokovic. That must have put pressure on the proud Serb.

Well done to him today not only for his play but also for his victory speech which was excellent :)

My daughter lives in Melbourne and went to 7 of the matches.
Mind you she must have been the only Scot there shouting for the Serb !
