Had gel nail polish done three times now, once in Turkey and twice in the UK.  I really like the effect but I think it has weakened my nails, they have gone from being long and strong to breaking off half way down - 5 broken to date and have had to have tips applied.  Will have them done this week and once more for Xmas but after that it is back to natural.

After 34, yes 34 years of acrylics, I gave them up in April of this year. It took months to grow the ridges off that the tips had left, but do not regret my decision. I'll never have them on again. No matter how well they are done, everyone can tell they are not real. It was just time for a change and I'm glad I gave them up.

No matter what the manicurist says they do ruin your own nails.  The nail gets no air/oxygen to them and when you get them removed they remove layers of the nail.  I only have mine done for special occasions and they are only just recovering from the last time which was July

How do I get creosote stains out of my designer boiler-suit?   ???  I wore it once during my last 'Nail Design' exam, and the creosote just refuses to budge!!  :o Any advice will be appreciated, as i have just started advertising; 'Have your Nails Done Whilst You Wait', and want nice clean coveralls !!    ;) ;D
I shall be returning to the 'Land of the Turk' early next year, complete with 35 Bar Air-compressor, Cataloy filler compound, rubbing down compound, (Grade 60), and a full range of Air-brush guns. Coming to a 'Sitesi' near you, be VERY afraid !!
