Geoff Boycott is blaming England cricketers' abysmal performance in the first NZ test on their being in the holiday spirit after 10 days R&R in Queenstown. This place was also at the centre of much of the drunken antics scandal surrounding England's Rugby World Cup debacle. Should English sportsmen be banned from going to Queenstown? It may be too rich for their blood.

It does seem to attract rather a lot of backpackers who love to party. Lots to do there on an evening.

Boycott don't he just bore yer? Mind you he used to do that at the crease for England.  I'd like to know where the England team partied before losing the first test in India if that's the only reason Boycott can find for a bad start to a test series.
