lost residency permit
« on: October 11, 2013, 10:28:33 AM »
I lost the wife's residency at Dalaman airport.  The airport say they have not  got it there.  We  are in UK  at the moment and if needs be, she will have to pay her 10quid to  get back to Turkey.
Does anyone know what to do in this situation in respect of getting a copy of the permit??

Yep, there was a topic on here a while ago and I believe the outcome was that a new one has to be applied for and the fees paid all over again.

You will have to go to the police station on the way to the first big Kippa or just passed it. The one at the trafice lights. Take a translater with you. We took Yakup with us from Hippy Chick. It took 10 mins and then you get a recipt for the passport police. No real hastle. We had thrown our oldones away in 2000 as we thought we had left Turkey. When we applied for a new one last year they still had our old records.
