We are from Fethiye and love the uzumlu restaurants but we need to know if it is safe for us to visit now

Rosy, thank you for your informative post. Apollo,, have you read all of this thread? Could there be a reason Eddies was not included in recommendations?

I do hope the couple recover quickly from their ordeal but I'm sure the mental scars will take longer.

I'm told that theft of property warrants a heavier penalty than aggravated assault under present Turkish law - could be a double whammy to look forward to.

We are truly overwhelmed at the response we have received. Alot of you have put two and two together and come up with the right answer. So now we sit and wait to see what the the system does about it.
And I would like to ask the local ex-pat community to boycott the bar and hurt him in his pocket !
Thank you once again

Just read this topic. Absolutely horrendous, don't know Uzumlu very well having only been there once, but this person sounds like a raving lunatic.

Don, have you got lawyers acting for you out here to push it through? Or are you relying on the system to obtain justice?

The Hornet

Having two identities on CBF is against the rules. I have removed the posts, and replies directly to them.

If you want to repost them, please avoid naming the restaurant (as we respectfully asked from the start), and post them under your 'normal' CBF user name, not the one you set up today.
