18 of us from a 3cs funded project - The  English Learning Centre - went on a breakfast boat trip ( Alis Calis boat 21) yesterday and stopped off and had a wander on Sovalye Island.

It was about 15 degrees and really warm sunshine.
The contrast of spring flowers and back drop of snow and all the blue sky and water was stunning...
Heres a few of many shots I took.

They are gorgeous pictures Linda what are the little lilac flowers called? Are the poppies out yet or is it a bit early for them?  8)

It's a good sign when the wild anemones start to appear.

Not the greatest photo from Tonoz Beach webcam but at least it shows there are a few tables set out overlooking the beach. When the sun is out, it's always warm there, we used to go to Olu to warm up when it was cold in our apartment in Fethiye.  8) 8)

Was the peacock up in the Belen area ? There used to be an old lady up there who bred them. She had over 30 at one time.

Im not good with the different area names..it was opposite the restaurant with the big gull on it...
With loads of geese.. Then it wandered across the road and was trying to get in the restaurant.
