We saw a guy on a scooter with a small boy on the back using both hands to eat what looke like bread and fish. Neither of them of course, wearing crash helmets

Then we saw a Mini Cooper with the sunroof down and two British Girls sitting up high on the back seat both with plastic glasses with drinks in.  There were singing and waving here arms around.  This was on the Calis to Fethiye Road.  When the guy in the car started to speed up, they eventually sad  down, but both put their legs out of the sides of the car and their feet at an angle, both still singing and drinking.  I was so worried something would hit their legs. They were very drunk.  Glad when they turned off and I did not have to worry anymore.

Just read your post to my ( turkish) hubby pompeylee. He goes mad at these things and it's all tourists in general even Turkish who they will try cheat. He says Turkish people complain about this also. You're no longer a tourist of course but they don't know that  :D

A few years ago someone in Fethiye was selling t-shirts with the words something like "Hayır, ben lanet bir turist değilim!" ( roughly translated as "No, I'm not a **ckin' tourist !" ) printed on them.

Might be an opening for a entrepreneur ?  ;)
