Vacancy
« on: October 04, 2015, 19:57:00 PM »

Any nominations for the vacant managers position at Liverpool Football Club.?

Brendan's finding out that all that stuff about never walking alone isn't strictly true .     :'(

Ludicrous decision - only six points off top after 8 games.

Jose might be at a loose end soon, and I was reading that Obscene Whinger is thinking of leaving Arse n all.       ;)

The most bland, uninspiring Liverpool manager ever.

And I include Roy Evans in that  ;)

At the start of the season how many Liverpool supporters would have taken a 4 point lead over Chelsea after 8 games. (Yes I know they are 6 points off top spot).

But I believe that when they had all their first team available, they would certainly have finished above Crystal Palace. Leicester City, West Ham and Southampton and quite possibly above Tottenham and Everton.

But being 4 points above Chelsea isn't evidence of a good Liverpool start, it's evidence of a very
poor Chelsea start.

Agreed but my point was about the relativity of their start compared to the teams above and below them.

I don't think its what position they are in the league at the  moment,
its the way that they have been playing for the last two seasons,

Agree Davy,  I think B.R. was lucky intitially with Suarez in the team but he has lost his way now and puttng players in the wrong positions.   His  team seem to have lost confidence and I think a new Manager may ignite the team.

It appears Klopp and Ancelotti have already been approached, with Klopp as favorite. Wonder how long he will last. ?
