The Fig Easter Craft Fayre was held on Tuesday 7th March at the side of Migros and Address Restaurant on the Kordon in Fethiye.
Despite the morning starting off as slightly cloudy and rather cool, perfect temperature, it was a great atmosphere and fabulous crafts ensured that the Craft Fayre was a huge success.
The vast amount of visitors who attended the Craft Fayre browsed the many stalls – vendors from around the Fethiye area including a selection of crafts – ceramics, handmade cards, handmade crafts, homemade marmalade/jams, handmade stitch crafts, homemade pies/pasties, homemade doughnuts, artwork , homemade cakes , handmade leather goods and jewellery,.
The event also gave people plenty of opportunity to meet up with friends.
FIG would like to say a very big thank you to all the stall holders and the visitors who attended and made the event a terrific success. We would like to say a huge thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their time in the organising and setting up of the event to make this the success it was. Thank you to Lyn Ward for the photographs on the day.
FIG would also like to say thank you to Fetav, Belediye and Zabita for their support.
“The whole day was a great success, we had positive feedback from stallholders and visitors. Monies raised after deductins was approximately 1300tl” said Fig Chairman Sheila Tongue.
All of the money raised will go towards funding projects to help the local children in the Fethiye area. Fig would like to say a very big thank you to everyone and all of the support shown to FIG.
