This is What Monarch Emailed to us on the 10 Jan 2014:

Please be advised of the following information relating to your booking:

Manchester - Dalaman on 03OCT14

From 10 April 2014 visitors to Turkey will no longer be able to obtain a visa on arrival. If you are due to arrive after this date, you will need to purchase an entry visa online prior to travel at www.evisa.gov.tr The cost of the e-visa for Turkey is approximately 20 US Dollars per person.

What's the problem with getting an e visa - it's a piece of cake and gives you total peace of mind.

Simple  :(

The process is very easy now At Dalaman they don't even look at the paper visa they just put your passport in the reader they have and then just stamp a page in the passport

Got an email today from easyjet (flying in 3 weeks) reminding me about the e-visa though it's been on their website for a while now.

Got ours a couple of weeks ago, pretty easy procedure and if it speeds things up at Dalaman so much the better!    :)

My neighbour went and got her new vısa today but  for only 1 year ,now you have to show you have medıcal insurance ,they were ok they English cover they only come over for a few months each year ,what happens to the ex pats who live here ,now the smk ? have stopped can you get private cover.
Why do they make it so hard for foreigners to live here ,don't they want us here. >:(
