Dalyan to Ortaca then Ortaca to Fethiye (or ask to jump off at turnoff to Calis). Time I guess will be one and half hour travelling plus whatever the changeover time will be. Ortaca is a pretty busy bus station so it shouldn't be too long to wait.

When you come off the D400 on the Fethiye Road, the dolmus goes down the road towards Fethiye,  you will see a road on the right that that has an arrow that says  Calis Plaji (Calis Beach).   On the opposite side is a big Citroen Garage.  Ask the driver to drop you there.  Walk down this road on the Citroen Garage side and there is a Dolmus stop.  Catch the dolmus down to Calis Beach, dolmus will have Calis Plaji on the front it will take take about 5-10 minutes and will save you the long walk.

Thanks everyone- for some reason I thought the dolmus went into Calis ? Thought I had seen bus stops by the little bridge?

There are dolmuses into Calis, problem is that the "big" buses all go along the Gunlukbasi Road (where the Citroen garage is situated) into Fethiye, hence bypass the main part of Calis

Just been looking at a map Liz101 how long do you think it would take to walk from Citroen garage to Calis ? And would a taxi be silly money?

A walk, easily 20 mins at a fast rate, a taxi, very reasonable. You could stay on the bus into Fethiye, then out again to Calis for coppers!
