Bus from Dalyan

Within a couple of minutes a taxi pulled up "5 lira to Calis?". Returning from a fare I guess, but too good an offer to turn down, so three minutes later we were strolling along the prom.

Seems common for taxis to do that in the Fethiye area.  Quite often, while waiting at the dolmus stop just up from the Atapark in Karagozler, taxis will stop and offer you a cheap fare into Fethiye and in recent years its been 5tl   

Odd why it never happens when its raining though...

Thanks everyone for your comments - I have messaged the rep at the hotel where I am staying in Dalyan and he tells me he does not know yet if the dolmus will be running to Fethiye market this season yet so it looks like I will have to wait until nearer the time
