Title: Seaside Properties
Post by: SandyLea on August 23, 2012, 10:02:32 AM
When we were last in Calis, there was an estate agents on the corner called "Seaside Properties".  Are they still there or what became of them?

They're still in the same place & have been around for a good number of years now

Oh!  That surprises me.  I did a search on this site for them and came up with zero.  I would have thought someone would have used them to have bought a property and had an opinion about them.  I also "googled" them and came up with nothing.  Strange.  Nevertheless, if they are still there and I don't get any negative feedback from this forum in the next couple of weeks, I shall be visiting them too in September.

That explains it!

Does anyone have any experience of using them, please?

We are in the process of buying at the moment from seaside properties, and we have found them excellent, not pushy but very helpful in all aspects, not just purchasing, we have been dealing with Joseph and so far can't speak highly enough of him, we have also spoken to someone else who bought through seaside and their experience was also very positive. Hope this helps!

It's working fine for me. I haven't personally bought from them but know the people and haven't heard anything untoward about them.

The website is working intermittently.  I did manage to get on 10 mins ago and saw a property on there we are interested in that is also with Interturk.  Then the website went down again.  Oh well....

We bought our property a few years ago through Seaside Properties and found them excellent to deal with. Since our purchase, Turgut (owner) and Joseph (Sales Manager) have helped us with advise and support on numerous occasions since then. We trust them and their advise utterly and can't recommend them enough. I would definitely go back to them were I buying or selling a property in this area in the future without hesitation.

Yes, we will view it with Interturk - we have an appointment with them to do just that.  I was just commenting really about both agents having the same property - does that perhaps show the seller is desperate and may take a reduced offer?

Most people put their properties on with a few agents here.  More a standard practice than a sign of desperation.
